Jeff’s lifelong passion for astronomy lit up every room he entered, from youth stargazing with a telescope he built at 13 to sharing the night sky with anyone curious enough to look up.

As an educator, he loved inspiring people to explore the universe and wonder at its mysteries. In his memory, the Pale Blue Dot Scramble is raising funds to build and install a NEXDOME 2 m telescope dome, bringing Jeff’s love of astronomy into a permanent observatory space where his spirit of curiosity can continue to shine.
